OUR APPROACH

We work together with local communities to become more resilient to climate change by establishing and maintaining coral nurseries, conducting training and capacity building initiatives, scientific research, and education and outreach.

OUR PROJECTS

We develop and implement coral conservation projects. We also take on projects with the major non-profit organizations working in the Easter Caribbean. Since our establishment in 2016 we have completed eight (8) projects geared at coral restoration and the establishment of new marine protected areas in Grenada.

OUR PARTNERS

Our partners include governmental, non-governmental (NGO) agencies, community organizations, and universities. We also collaborate with  a number of regional & international non-profit organizations that actively contribute towards coral reef conservation in the Eastern Caribbean Region.

The Grenada Coral Reef Foundation is a non profit organization dedicated to protecting and managing coral reefs and other related ecosystems in Grenada, Carriacou & Petite Martinique.

Our core mission is to prevent further degradation, and where possible restore Grenada’s coral reefs and other related ecosystem through the use of innovative coastal protection and restoration techniques, thereby ensuring sustainable livelihoods for present and future generations.

We try to use our influence and resources to protect coral reefs and promote sustainable livelihoods within the communities where we work.
